KSFS is a service of the College of Creative Arts Broadcasting and Electronic Communication Arts (BECA) department at San Francisco State University. The College of Creative Arts BECA department is widely recognized for its courses of study in audio and radio production, performance, and writing.

Listen to Scott on Seattle’s Hottest Dance Radio Station C-89.5 FM
C-89.5 Worldwide has been playing Seattle’s Hottest Music for over 35 years. The station is owned by the Seattle Public Schools and is operated by students of Nathan Hale High School as part of a radio broadcasting course. Production, programming, music selection, copy, and on-air hosting are done by the student staff. Some regular programs are hosted by alumni and other volunteers.

Over the years they have been growing, and today they have over 100,000 weekly listeners mostly teens to 34. With their new broadcast facility on Cougar Mountain their extended coverage will ensure more people in the Puget Sound Region can hear them loud and clear. By broadcasting on their website, they are able to reach a large and diverse audience from all over the world!

C-89.5 Worldwide is recognized as a leader in dance music. C-89.5 is monitored by BDS and MediaBase, and is one of eight stations that factor in to the Billboard Dance chart. They have won numerous awards and recognitions not only for being a premier high-school facility, but also for being an influential radio station on the cutting-edge of dance music. C-89.5 FM was recently listed in Billboard's Top 40 of Top 40, a huge honor and testament to their students' hard work and dedication to C-89.5 Worldwide.
